MINSK, 28 October (BelTA) - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Arab Republic of Egypt Sergei Terentiev met with Wael Hamed, Assistant Foreign Minister for European Affairs at the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, BelTA learned from the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“The parties reaffirmed their commitment to cooperating in priority areas of Belarusian-Egyptian cooperation, in particular in politics, trade, industry and agriculture,” the press service informed. The parties discussed the schedule of bilateral events planned for the near future and emphasized the importance of maintaining high dynamics of contacts at various levels.
“Special considering was given to the regional agenda. The similarity of positions on the need for peaceful settlement of conflicts using political and diplomatic instruments was emphasized,” the press service said.
