MINSK, 24 September (BelTA) – Despite all the hindrances created by Western countries, Belarus looks into the future with confidence. Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Maxim Ryzhenkov made the statement as he participated in a summit on a sustainable, inclusive and resilient global economy: implementing the commitments on financing the Sustainable Development Goals in New York, USA, BelTA has learned.
Maxim Ryzhenkov noted that the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals is a responsibility of every state. Bearing this understanding in mind, Belarus has created a national architecture for managing the process of achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.
“The Sustainable Development Goals are deeply integrated into the life of our society. In July we presented the third national review on reaching the SDGs. Having realized 80% of the 2030 Agenda as of today, despite all the hindrances that Western countries create for us, we look into the future with confidence,” the Belarusian minister of foreign affairs stated.
