MINSK, 4 October (BelTA) – Consul General of Belarus in Chongqing Dmitry Yemelyanov met with Deputy Director of the Foreign Affairs Office of Chongqing Municipal People's Government Li Mingquan, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Consulate General.
The parties discussed the most important areas of cooperation between Belarus and Chongqing and plans to expand interregional ties in the follow-up to the joint declaration adopted by the leaders of Belarus and China to upgrade bilateral relations to ‘all-weather comprehensive strategic partnership'.
In September 2022 Belarus and China adopted the joint declaration on the establishment of all-weather comprehensive strategic partnership. The document outlines the main areas of cooperation and joint achievements over the 30-year period of diplomatic relations of the Republic of Belarus and the People's Republic of China, as well as identifies ways to step up mutually beneficial contacts.
