MINSK, 30 January (BelTA) - On 30 January Belarus’ outgoing Consul General Tatiana Kharlap paid a farewell courtesy call on the Office of the Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PRC in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) and the Government of the HKSAR, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During the meeting with Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PRC in the HKSAR Cui Jianchun, the parties reviewed the development of bilateral cooperation since the opening of the Consulate General of Belarus in 2022. The partied reaffirmed the all-weather nature of relations between the states and the commitment to implementing the planned projects. Cui Jianchun emphasized the commitment to strengthening business ties and highlighted the promising nature of cooperation between China's regions and Belarus, including at the Great Stone Industrial Park.
During the meeting with Eric Chan, the Chief Secretary for Administration at the Government of the HKSAR, the parties confirmed their readiness to further deepen economic and humanitarian cooperation
