MINSK, 24 November (BelTA) – Belarus and China support each other on key matters. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of China to Belarus Xie Xiaoyong made the statement after he presented his credentials to Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko on 24 November, BelTA has learned.
According to the diplomat, cooperation with Belarus is very important for China. “At present Chinese-Belarusian relations of trustful comprehensive strategic partnership and mutually beneficial cooperation continue developing very well. Cooperation proceeds in a very dynamic and stable manner,” the ambassador stressed.
The ambassador drew attention to regular Belarusian-Chinese contacts at the top level. “Political mutual trust between our states grows deeper. The countries support each other on key matters of importance. Fruitful practical cooperation in economy, science and technology, culture and education has also produced very fruitful results.”
As a vivid example of Belarusian-Chinese interaction the head of the diplomatic mission referred to the China-Belarus industrial park Great Stone. He also mentioned the strong friendship between the peoples of Belarus and China, which had been confirmed by mutual assistance and support in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
