MINSK, 16 September (BelTA) – Belarus and China have signed a massive package of bilateral cooperation documents, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The source pointed out that Belarus and China had timed the signing of a number of bilateral documents to the meeting of Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko and China President Xi Jinping in Samarkand. For instance, the Belarusian Internal Affairs Ministry and the Chinese Public Security Ministry signed an intergovernmental agreement on cooperation in fighting crime.
The State Forensic Examination Committee of Belarus and the Chinese Justice Ministry signed a memorandum of understanding in forensic examination.
In order to increase Belarusian export to China the Belarusian Agriculture and Food Ministry and the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China (GACC) signed protocols on quarantine requirements for exporting Belarusian wheat flour, rapeseed oil meals and soybean oil meals to China.
The State Science and Technology Committee of Belarus and the Chinese Science and Technology Ministry signed a protocol to approve a list of Belarusian-Chinese R&D projects, which funding has been authorized in 2022-2023.
The Belarusian Economy Ministry and the Chinese Commerce Ministry signed a memorandum of cooperation in online trade.
Two priority technical and economic aid projects are being implemented in Belarus with China's support: the construction of an international-standard swimming pool and the construction of a national football stadium in Minsk.
