
MINSK, 13 May (BelTA) – Belarus' embassy in Bulgaria hosted a meeting with Chairman of the Bulgaria - Belarus parliamentary friendship group, member of the National Assembly of Bulgaria Daniel Petrov and deputy chairman of the friendship group Momchil Ivanov, BelTA learned from the Belarusian diplomatic mission.
The parties discussed the state and prospects of Belarus-Bulgaria cooperation, including interparliamentary and interregional contacts, as well as trade, economic and humanitarian cooperation. The Bulgarian side expressed interest in intensifying contacts with the Belarus-Bulgaria friendship group of the National Assembly of Belarus.
The meeting was also attended by Mayor of Opan Municipality Gencho Kolev and Vice Mayor of Chirpan Municipality Janko Topalov.
