Belarus, Botswana agree to hold ministerial consultations

MINSK, 13 February (BelTA) - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to South Africa with concurrent accreditation to the Republic of Botswana Igor Bely presented copies of his credentials to Minister of International Affairs and Cooperation of Botswana Lemogang Kwape, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The parties focused on a wide range of issues of interstate cooperation. In particular, they discussed the schedule of bilateral visits and the establishment of intergovernmental commissions.

The parties considered the possibility of regular consultations between the foreign ministries and the development of a legal framework of Belarusian-Botswana cooperation.
