Belarus, Azerbaijan discuss organization of forthcoming high-level, top-level visits

MINSK, 5 January (BelTA) – Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergei Aleinik accepted credentials from new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Azerbaijan to Belarus Maharram Aliyev on 5 January, BelTA has learned.

Sergei Aleinik and Maharram Aliyev exchanged opinions about the state and prospects of advancing Belarus-Azerbaijan relations. They discussed a broad range of matters on the bilateral agenda. Close attention was paid to the organization of forthcoming high-level and top-level visits, to the enhancement of trade and economic interaction, and the reconciliation of the roadmap designed to guide the advancement of cooperation.

During the meeting the sides reaffirmed the determination to further advance the relations within the framework of Belarus-Azerbaijan strategic partnership.
