Belarus' ambassador presents credentials to Vietnam's president

MINSK, 13 April (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Uladzimir Baravikou has presented credentials to President of Vietnam Nguyen Xuan Phuc, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The parties briefly discussed promising areas of bilateral cooperation and the schedule of joint events that are expected to give a fresh impetus to this cooperation.

“The president of Vietnam welcomed the high level of friendly relations between Belarus and Vietnam, significant potential to intensify trade and economic cooperation,” the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs noted.
