Belarus’ ambassador, Myanmar's FM discuss agreements at highest level

MINSK, 28 March (BelTA) - Belarusian Ambassador to Vietnam Vladimir Borovikov met with Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister of Foreign Affairs of Myanmar Than Swe in Naypyidaw, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The talks were held outside the building of the Myanmar Ministry of Foreign Affairs for security reasons due to the recent earthquake in the city of Naypyidaw.

The parties reaffirmed the importance of implementing the agreements reached between the leaders of the two countries during the official visit of Chairman of the State Administration Council, Prime Minister of Myanmar Min Aung Hlaing to Belarus on 6-7 March 2025.

The parties discussed steps to implement them in the short and medium term. Special attention was paid to the implementation of joint projects in the trade and economic sector.
