Belarus’ ambassador meets with deputy speakers of Slovakia’s parliament

MINSK, 12 February (BelTA) – Belarus’ Ambassador Andrei Dapkiunas has met with Deputy Speakers of the National Council of the Slovak Republic Andrej Danko and Ľuboš Blaha in Bratislava, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

“We are always happy to shake hands and exchange ideas with sincere friends of Belarus, who are committed to maintaining truly friendly relations between nations and protecting the national interests of their countries,” the Belarusian diplomat was quoted as saying by the foreign ministry.

Andrei Dapkiunas currently holds the position of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Austria and Permanent Representative of Belarus to the international organisations in Vienna and to the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE).
