MOSCOW, 20 June (BelTA) – Belarus' Ambassador to Russia Vladimir Semashko held talks with heads of six regions of Russia at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, BelTA learned from the press service of the diplomatic mission.
“Vladimir Semashko took part in the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. Along with attending the main events of the forum, the head of the Belarusian diplomatic mission held working meetings with Novgorod Oblast Governor Andrei Nikitin, Saratov Oblast Governor Roman Busargin, Trans-Baikal Territory Governor Alexander Osipov, Chelyabinsk Oblast Governor Alexei Teksler, Vladimir Oblast Governor Alexander Avdeyev and Ulyanovsk Oblast Governor Alexei Russkikh. The parties discussed trade and economic cooperation in the areas of mutual interest,” the press service informed.
The government of Belarus and the government of Chelyabinsk Oblast signed a cooperation agreement in trade, economy, science, technology, social field and culture.
