MINSK, 25 October (BelTA) – Serbia and Belarus are ready to enhance
inter-parliamentary cooperation at all possible levels, Ambassador
Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Serbia to the
Republic of Belarus Ilina Vukajlović said following the meeting with
Chairperson of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of
Belarus Natalya Kochanova in Minsk on 25 October, BelTA has learned.
"As far as inter-parliamentary cooperation is concerned, we have a number of projects and areas which we can tap in. We exchange visits quite often. In our opinion, people's diplomacy is very important," Ambassador Ilina Vukajlović said.
"Serbia has a new parliament. We have established a friendship group, which includes 35 MPs. They are very happy to come to Belarus and to invite our colleagues to Serbia. Certainly, they are committed to cooperating at all possible levels," the ambassador added.
