Ambassador meets with leaders of Belarusian ethnocultural associations of Kazakhstan

MINSK, 29 April (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Kazakhstan Pavel Utyupin met with leaders of the Belarusian ethnocultural associations of Nur-Sultan, Pavlodar, East Kazakhstan Province and Mangystau Province of Kazakhstan on 29 April, BelTA learned from the Belarusian diplomatic mission in Kazakhstan.

Pavel Utyupin informed the representatives of associations about the current situation in the Republic of Belarus, the results of the national referendum and the forthcoming work of the government bodies on introducing amendments to the legislation following the amendments to the Constitution. The head of the diplomatic mission shared the results of cooperation with Kazakhstan in foreign trade, humanitarian and tourist activities. He outlined the prospects and directions of development of cooperation with Kazakhstan. The meeting also highlighted the planned activities to mark the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Belarus and Kazakhstan.

The leaders of the associations, in turn, shared their experience in the work of the associations they lead, discussed the planned activities to mark the upcoming significant public holidays of Kazakhstan and Belarus. They expressed their readiness to cooperate with the embassy, including as part of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Kazakhstan.
