ORYOL, 11 February (BelTA) - Belarus can assist Russian regions with national projects, Belarusian Ambassador to Russia Aleksandr Rogozhnik said at a meeting with Governor of Oryol Oblast Andrei Klychkov, BelTA learned.
"The focus of my visit to Oryol Oblast is the national projects that Russia launched in 2025. These are 19 projects that Russian President Vladimir Putin announced. We need to work through all areas where our country can be useful for the Russian Federation and where we can give a hand," the diplomat said.
He said that Belarus could take part in the construction of social facilities, schools and medical institutions in Oryol Oblast. "You are a territorially very close region for us, so I think we could work very well," the ambassador believes.
Ambassador Aleksandr Rogozhnik recalled that Belarus has experience of working in different regions of the Russian Federation, for example, in Kaluga and Voronezh, where Belarusians have built unique facilities. "This experience can prove useful in your region as well," he stated.
