MINSK, 21 May (BelTA) – Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergei Aleinik held talks with Deputy Prime Minister - Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Mohammad Ishaq Dar on the sidelines of the meeting of the SCO Foreign Ministers Council in Astana, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The parties discussed in detail the state and prospects of Belarus-Pakistan political, trade and economic cooperation. They specified and scheduled a number of joint events at various levels planned for this year.
They also discussed plans to expand cooperation in international organizations and agreed to strengthen coordination and continue mutual support.
