Support for motherhood and childhood is among the priorities of the Belarusian government. The scope of assistance will be expanded, Grodno Oblast Governor Vladimir Karanik said at a reception ahead of the International Women's Day on 4 March.
Twenty-five women from all districts of Grodno Oblast were invited to the reception. Among them were representatives of different walks of life who have excelled in theirs professions, art, social activists and also mothers with many children.
