People of all faiths have always coexisted peacefully in Belarus, Governor of Minsk Oblast Aleksandr Turchin said at a ceremony to open an exhibition in the Volozhin yeshiva.The renovation of the yeshiva began in 2022. Reopened in 2024, the yeshiva is set to become a center of Jewish culture as an integral part of the culture of Belarus.Today, the yeshiva is a branch of the local history museum. It exhibits Jewish art, a collection of tallits, rare books, including a Torah scroll.
