Candidate of Biological Sciences, Associate Professor of the Fundamental and Applied Biology Department of Vitebsk State University Yevgeny Derzhinsky got his passion for butterflies more than two decades ago, when he came to the university's entomology club as a schoolboy. His collection includes interesting specimens of butterflies from Belarus and Kazakhstan that he personally collected, and large beauties from Madagascar that he bought.
