Parishioners in Vitebsk celebrated one of the great twelve church holidays - the Dormition of the Mother of God - with a solemn procession through the city streets. Orthodox believers walked through the streets of the regional center in a cross procession to the Holy Dormition Cathedral. The festive prayer service in the cathedral was led by Archbishop Dimitry of Vitebsk and Orsha.
