St. Euphrosyne Convent in Polotsk is marking the 900th anniversary in 2025. One of the unique buildings in the architectural ensemble is the Transfiguration Church. Ancient frescoes cover 90% of the walls. The paintings were done using the fresco technique on wet lime plaster, which ensured their preservation for centuries. The church was reopened after restoration in early 2025.
