Since 1996, the Polesie State Radiation and Ecological Reserve has been engaged in pedigree horse breeding at its Khoiniki site. Following the instructions of the head of state, a livestock farm was set up on the grounds of the experimental economic zone of the Polesie reserve. Back then it purchased 66 head of a stately and beautiful breed - Russian Heavy Draft. Now the horse farm has 431 horses
