The history of Kreva Castle, one of the first castles in the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, dates back to the 14th century. Its ancient walls have witnessed many key events in Belarusian history. It was the first castle in Belarus built entirely of stone. The walls were 2.5 meters thick and 12-13 meters high. Conservation and restoration works have been underway in the castle for many years. Kreva Castle is included in the list of historical and cultural heritage of Belarus.
