First smart bus stop in Minsk

Minsk's first interactive multi-functional bus stop has been opened near the exit from the metro station Nemiga to the Upper Town. The bus stop occupies 40m2 and consists of two wings. Each of the wings has four USB ports to charge mobile devices, an emergency button to call rescue services or police, a screen to order a taxi, an ATM, a self-service terminal, and slot machines selling small items. The stop also provides free WiFi. A touch screen gives information about the transport schedule and can build a route using set parameters. Plans are in place to equip the bus stop with a battery charger for electric scooters and segways in the future. All in all, about a hundred of such interactive bus stops will be built in Minsk.
