The feat of veterans gave us the opportunity to live, to work and make our state stronger, Belarusian Defense Minister Viktor Khrenin said during a ceremony to present the state award "For Impeccable Service First Class” and the jubilee medal "The 80th anniversary of Belarus’s liberation from the German fascist invaders" to the veterans of the Great Patriotic. The ceremony took place in the Victory Hall of the Belarusian State Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War on 6 May.
