The current and possible future projects of Belarus and Russia were discussed during a meeting between Head of the Belarus President Administration Dmitry Krutoi and the chairman of the interdepartmental commission on historical education under the President of Russia, Chairman of the Russian Military Historical Society Vladimir Medinsky in Minsk on 12 March. Vladimir Medinsky gave Dmitry Krutoi a small but very symbolic souvenir - a replica of one of the monuments installed by the Russian Military Historical Society in Moscow. This is the Farewell of Slavianka (a figure of a woman seeing off a man to war), part of the sculptural composition near the Belorussky railway station.
