Belarus marks Apple Feast of the Saviour On 19 August Orthodox believers celebrate one of the 12 most important Christian holidays - the Transfiguration of the Lord God and Savior of our Jesus Christ.

The feast of the Transfiguration is associated with an ancient custom – blessing of fruits of the new harvest.
