ABU DHABI, 2 September (BelTA Emirates News Agency) - Under the
patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's
Representative in Al Dhafra Region and President of the Emirates
Falconers Club, the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian
Exhibition (ADIHEX 2024) will feature the VVIP Falcon Auction, the
premier auction for VIPs, at ADNEC Abu Dhabi from 31st August to 8th
September.
This year’s VIP Falcon Auction will allow participants to bid on rare and valuable falcons either in person or via an advanced electronic platform, broadening participation globally.
The auction will run for four days: Saturday, 31st August, Sunday, 1st September, Saturday, 7th September, and Sunday, 8th September, from 11:00 to 21:00. A maximum of three distinct falcons will be displayed each day.
A secure electronic platform will facilitate international bidding, and a dedicated room at the exhibition will provide live viewing of the birds. Potential bidders are required to pay a deposit of AED50,000. For the first time, online bidding will be available for up to 10 top-class falcons, with detailed information provided on the virtual platform.
On 8th September, the auction will be preceded by a Falcon Beauty Contest, where participants will parade their falcons before a panel of judges.
