TIANJIN, 20 October (BelTA - People's Daily Online) - The 7th China
(Tianjin) Helicopter Exposition opened in Tianjin Airport Economic Area.
Multiple military and civilian helicopters, along with low-altitude
aircraft, made their debuts at the event.
This helicopter expo will run for four days. A total of 52 aircraft are participating in the exhibition and demonstrations, including helicopters, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), and electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft. Of these, 38 are helicopters, including the Z-10, Z-19, Z-20, Z-20T, Z-8L helicopters attached to the Chinese PLA Army's aviation troops, some civilian helicopters such as KVD001 and KVD002 UAVs, AVIC's AC312E and AC311A, as well as some international models such as Leonardo AW139 and Airbus H135.
The Chinese PLA Army's participation primarily features static display, aerial performance, and indoor exhibition. The static display showcases active-duty combat equipment of the PLA Army's aviation and air assault troops, including helicopters, UAVs, and airborne weapons. The flight demonstration highlights the handling qualities and combat capabilities of China's domestically-produced helicopters. The indoor exhibition utilizes graphics, videos, and other media to showcase the achievements of the development of PLA Army's aviation troops.
The China (Tianjin) Helicopter Expo is recognized as China's only state-level international helicopter professional exhibition, and has been successfully held six times since its inception in 2011.
