
MANAMA, 20 May (BelTA - SANA) - Syrian national badminton team player
for special sports, Firas Shiha, won the gold medal in Arab Paralympic
Championship currently being held in the Bahraini capital, Manama.
Shiha best the champions of Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
Shiha and his fellow Syrian national team player Altaf Matar, won a silver medal, while he obtained another silver in the men’s doubles with a Kuwaiti player.
