TEHRAN, 11 July (BelTA - IRNA). - Iranian national rifting team on the last day of the 2022 European Rafting Cup gained the gold medal in the slalom field, and in total points counted with a slight margin from the host team, stood on the 2nd place.
The 2022 European Rafting Cup was held on July 6-9 in Aosta, Italy.
The Iranian women's team, comprised of Setarh Homayunfar, Sahar Qasemi, Faezeh Ronasi, Mobina Qasemi and Saba Fadaie, with Head Coach Sara Ale-Ebrahim, and men's team, comprised of Hossein Esmaili-Zadeh, Behdad Mohajerani, Mohammad-Reza Safdarian, Farid Pour-Azarian, and Hadi Khosravi, whose Head Coach was Hadi Qazi-Asgar, and supervised by Farzad Nekouie, attended these competitions.
The Iranian men's team, too, ranked 8th in the 2022 European Rafting Cup.
