Iranian pharmacy invents creative measure to help poor patients

TEHRAN, 12 July (BelTA - IRNA). - A new pharmacy in the Iranian capital has coined a creative measure to help poor patients with the assistance of a number of benefactors.

This idea has been taken from a way that the Iranians used to help the poor in the past year which was called the “wall of kindness”.

The walls of kindness were some walls known by everyone across the city on which the citizens hung the clothes they did not need anymore for the use of the needy.

In the new method used by the pharmacy in Tehran, a number of benefactors pay money to the pharmacy and receive no medicine in return. They rather install their receipts on the pharmacy wall so that the poor patients pick a receipt equivalent to their prescription cost off the wall and pay the cashier for their medicine.
