International projects of Moscow Kremlin Museums to receive media support abroad with TV BRICS assistance

MOSCOW, 19 February (BelTA - TV BRICS) - Exhibition projects of the Moscow Kremlin Museums in Russia and abroad will receive information support in the BRICS media space. The relevant cooperation agreement was signed by Elena Gagarina, General Director of the Moscow Kremlin Museums, and Ivan Polyakov, Chairman of the TV BRICS International Media Network. The document signing ceremony took place in a solemn atmosphere in the Patriarchal Chambers.

In April 2025, TV BRICS will be an international media partner of the exhibition "Exquisite Meal. The History of Food in Ancient China", which will open a new season at the Moscow Kremlin Museums. The exhibition will showcase the collection of the National Museum of China for the first time in Russia. The project is part of the plan of official events of the Years of Culture of Russia and China (2024-2025).

"For the Moscow Kremlin Museums, which carry out active exhibition activities abroad, the conclusion of a cooperation agreement with TV BRICS is very important. We have found a reliable international partner, and I am sure our interaction will be interesting and beneficial for both parties. Together we will be able to introduce the collections of the Moscow Kremlin Museums to a much larger audience on different continents – both in the BRICS countries and in other regions of the international media network's presence," said Elena Gagarina.

van Polyakov, Chairman of TV BRICS, emphasised that the international media network pays great attention to the issues of strengthening humanitarian cooperation between the BRICS countries and provides comprehensive support to major state and international events aimed at achieving these goals. As a partner of the Moscow Kremlin Museums, TV BRICS will contribute to the development of the brand of the unique complex and its positioning in the media as a significant part of the world historical and artistic heritage. For this purpose, TV BRICS will use its own resources: the TV BRICS portal and TV channel, which are available in six languages, and the capabilities of its partners, which are more than 80 major media outlets in different countries of the world.

The Moscow Kremlin Museums is a unique museum complex that includes such significant objects of Russia's national heritage as the Armoury Chamber, the Assumption, Annunciation and Archangel Cathedrals, the ensemble of the Ivan the Great Bell Tower and the Patriarch's Palace. In recognition of the uniqueness of the Moscow Kremlin monuments and their exceptional place in the development of world culture, the ensemble of the Moscow Kremlin and Red Square was included in the UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage List as part of the world historical and artistic heritage.

At the moment in the exhibition halls of the Assumption Belfry and the Patriarch's Palace there is an exhibition "The Legacy of Peter the Great and Coups d'Etat in the Russian Empire", which brings together exhibits from 14 major museums, archives and libraries of Moscow and St. Petersburg. The exhibition "Temple of Minerva. 270th anniversary of Moscow University" is on display in the State Anteroom of the Armoury Chamber. The National Museum of China in Beijing is hosting the exhibition "Russian Feast – Traditional Food, Drinks and the Art of Table Setting. From the Collection of the Moscow Kremlin Museums".
