ISTANBUL, 24 March (BelTA - Anadolu) - The Bilim Türkiye project,
launched by the Türkiye Technology Team Foundation (T3 Foundation), has
introduced science and technology to 3.85 million students across a wide
range of topics, from mathematics to aerospace.
Launched in 2020 as part of Türkiye's National Technology Move, the Bilim Türkiye initiative aims to increase interest in science and technology, foster communication in the field, and cultivate a generation of productive, team-oriented individuals.
Through various activities, the project introduces students to subjects such as design, technology, natural sciences, mathematics, astronomy, aviation, space, entrepreneurship, and agricultural technologies.
Students aged 6 to 14 receive hands-on workshop training in these fields.
In addition to workshops, students can explore interactive exhibits and visit planetariums designed to allow them to discover science by experience.
The educational program also offers various options, including hourly workshops, package programs, long-term training, thematic workshops, special non-workshop events, and interactive exhibit tours.
27 centers across 5 countries
Currently, the Bilim Türkiye Education Program operates in 27 centers across five countries, including Türkiye, Azerbaijan, Northern Cyprus, Kyrgyzstan, and Montenegro.
Domestic centers are located in several provinces of Türkiye such as Istanbul, Gaziantep, Erzurum, Ankara, Manisa, Samsun, Trabzon, Konya, Usak, and Corum.
Since its international expansion in 2021, the program has been implemented in Azerbaijan’s capital Baku, marking its first venture abroad.
The initiative was established with the support of the T3 Foundation and Azerbaijan's State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovation, with a protocol signed to strengthen relations between the two countries.
The Bilim Türkiye program offers over 600 unique workshop contents, designed with active technological learning tools, ensuring a uniform educational experience across all centers.
