Lukashenko: We are heirs of the generation of heroic winners
According to the president, the current meeting represents more than a tribute to the common heroic past. “We turn to history in order to protect not only the future but the present already. This is how the issue stands today,” he stressed.
Aleksandr Lukashenko said: “In Belarus we vigorously promote the understanding that the memory of the Great Victory is part of the national idea. We try to do everything to make our children remember that with this victory we are tied well to all the nations of the former Soviet Union."
Sergei Lukashevich emphasized Belarus' readiness to join the BRICS formats of interaction in the key areas of the BRICS political, economic and humanitarian cooperation.
The key growth drivers were construction (up 15.6%), manufacturing sector (2%), IT (6.1%) and trade (3.3%). “The start is a relatively strong - 0.4% ahead of the forecast,” Andrei Kartun said.
