On 5 September, Grodno marked its 897th anniversary with a water lantern festival. The Swiss Valley in Gilibert Park was filled with an atmosphere of magic and romance. Hundreds of Grodno residents came to set their lanterns afloat. At that moment they wished all the very best to their beloved city and its residents, including themselves.
