Volcano Fagradalsfjall in the Reykjanes Peninsula in the southwest of Iceland erupted on 19 March. It came after over 50,000 of earthquakes disturbing the magma underground recorded over the past several months. This week, a new fissure was spotted on the volcano. It is about 500 meters long, CNN reports.
