Daytime temperatures in Belarus on 9 January will drop to -14°C, BelTA learned from the national center for hydrometeorology, radioactive pollution control, and environmental monitoring Belgidromet at the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection.Cloudy weather will prevail today. Intermittent snow is expected, with heavy snowfall across most of the country. Blizzard conditions are anticipated in many areas, leading to snowdrifts on roads, with black ice on certain road sections. The wind is forecast to be north to northeast at 5-10 m/s, gusting up to 14 m/s, and in many areas reaching 15-20 m/s.
The daytime air temperature will range from -8°C to -14°C while in the southeastern regions it will hover between -4°C to -7°C.
