The ancient rite Shchedrets [generous evening] has been restored using recollections of old residents and took place in Kletsk District, Minsk Oblast on the eve of Old New Year. The unique attributes of the festive rite include a self-made ancient eight-pointed Star of Bethlehem. Instead of Goat and Crane the performance featured Pregnant Horse as a symbol of a rich and fruitful year.
