Strawberry Plants, an enterprise from Shchuchin District, produces 350 tonnes of strawberry and 15 million strawberry seedlings a year. Strawberry fields are as big as 12 hectares, a strawberry plant nursery covers from 14 to 20 hectares. In addition, the company cultivates grain crops.
The enterprise sells its products in Belarus and the Russian Federation. In 2021, it began to cooperate with Kazakhstan. Its export exceeds $1.9 million.
Under an investment agreement, a facility with built-in refrigeration units for storing seedlings was built there. Now Strawberry Plants is Belarus' only company that boasts a well-tested technology of mass production of frigo strawberry plants.
