On 20 February, the event to launch the Safety Awareness Raising campaign was held in Victory Square in Vitebsk. The nationwide campaign will be running until 1 March. The event in Vitebsk involved representatives of the Emergencies Ministry, the traffic police, the Vitebsk Oblast police department, the 103rd Independent Guards Mobiel Brigade, Belarusian Red Cross Society, Vitebskoblgaz gas supplier, lifeguards, etc.
