August is here, and with it comes the perfect opportunity to hit the road on your bike. Beautiful and unusual landscapes, a team of like-minded people and an interesting route – what could be better? That's exactly what the organizers of the cycling race Salt of Polesie thought.
The Belarusian potash fertilizer producer Belaruskali has been organizing the Salt of Polesie marathon since 2021. This year, it brough together a thousand participants: young and old, with different sport experiences, from different parts of the country: Dzerzhinsk, Minsk, Mogilev, Slutsk and others.
The participants could choose the distance: 45km (flat track without significant ups), 75km (one spoil tip on the route) and the most difficult one – 115km (two spoil tips, steep descents and extra difficulty).
