Belarus-China counterterrorism exercise Dashing Eagle 2015

The Belarusian-Chinese counterterrorism exercise Dashing Eagle 2015 is scheduled to take place at premises of the 38th independent mobile brigade in Brest on 15-27 June.

The war game takes place at the firing range Brestsky. The Belarusian side is represented by a mobile company of the 382nd independent mobile battalion of the 38th guards independent mobile brigade of the Belarusian army’s special operations forces.

Belarusian and Chinese military personnel go through a special obstacle course called Path of the Scout. The obstacle course comprises a number of artificial obstacles designed to beef up physical endurance of the personnel in addition to encouraging them to demonstrate courage, shrewdness and decisiveness. By going through Path of the Scout military personnel learn how to promptly move across rugged terrain. The obstacle course is also designed to allow the personnel to practice their skills in urban warfare or frontline engagements.
