Ancient Amasra in northwestern Turkey

masra is a small town and port in northwestern Turkey in the province of Bartyn. The city has a rich history. The place has a long history and was even mentioned by Homer. At that time, the city was called Amastris. It later was part of the Pontic Kingdom and the Roman Empire. Nowadays, Amasra is a popular Black Sea resort with good beaches and beautiful nature. Amasra is one of the most beautiful seaside towns in Turkey.
