MOSCOW, 2 September (BelTA) - The Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) is preparing new economic measures to ensure stability in the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union during the pandemic, Iya Malkina, official representative of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), told a press briefing in Moscow on 2 September, BelTA has learned.
“Already in Q1 2022, the commission plans to submit proposals to the heads of government to update the measures adopted within the EAEU to ensure economic stability amid the COVID-19 pandemic and taking into account the needs for further support to the economies of EAEU member states, and also proposals to increase industrial cooperation within the EAEU, develop and implement mechanisms for its financing, strengthen digital capacity, deepen the presence of member states in the regional and global value chains,” said Iya Malkina.
