MINSK, 3 October (BelTA) – Winter grains have been planted on over one million hectares, the Belarusian Agriculture and Food Ministry told BelTA.
As of the morning of 3 October, Belarusian agricultural workers planted winter cereals on 1,084,800 hectares or 70.7% of the plan, which is 1,533,600 hectares.
Minsk Oblast planted 274,200 hectares or 79.7% of the plan, Brest Oblast planted 197,800 hectares (81.7%), Vitebsk Oblast planted 136,200 hectares (56.8%), Grodno Oblast planted 171,700 hectares (83.9% ), Gomel Oblast planted 139,000 hectares (49.6%) and Mogilev Oblast planted 166,000 hectares (74.5%).
