Vice premier comments on situation in Belarusian industry

MINSK, 23 November (BelTA) - In January-October 2022 the enterprises affiliated with the Belarusian Industry Ministry produced goods worth Br19.4 billion, Belarusian Deputy Prime Minister Piotr Parkhomchik said at a joint session of the House of Representatives and the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus on 23 November, BelTA has learned.

According to him, the country's industry is doing well. “In January-October 2022 the output made up Br19.4 billion worth of products. We sell everything we produce. Stocks of finished products in the warehouses of the enterprises do not reach the average monthly output. We plan to finish the year with the growth of at least 8% against the previous year,” said Piotr Parkhomchik.

In January-October 2022, exports reached $7.8 billion, up 9% year-on-year. “Exports of machines and mechanisms for harvesting crops increased by 65% compared to last year, those of tractors and tractor units - by 40%, refrigerators and freezers - by 35%, and trucks - by 22%,” the deputy prime minister said.
