
MINSK, 19 May (BelTA) - Belarus is interested in increasing the supply of food products to Russia, Belarusian Deputy Prime Minister Viktor Karankevich said at a meeting with Governor of Russia’s Krasnoyarsk Territory Mikhail Kotyukov in Minsk on 19 May, BelTA learned.
Viktor Karankevich highlighted Belarus’ willingness to actively participate in agricultural development programs and cooperate with Krasnoyarsk Territory in the agro-industrial sector, including in exchanges of experience, technologies and specialists. "I propose considering our expertise in animal husbandry and crop production technologies, manufacturing and use of Belarusian amino acids, compound feed, premixes, vitamin and mineral complexes, and veterinary medicines," the vice premier emphasized.

Belarus is also keen to scale up the supply of Belarusian food products, which have already proven their worth in the Russian market as high-quality ones. "We are also ready to discuss the prospects of increasing supplies of your agricultural raw materials to Belarus. During today's meeting, we are prepared to touch upon these and other areas of cooperation that are of mutual interest and lay a solid foundation to develop relations between Belarus and Krasnoyarsk Territory," Viktor Karankevich stated.


Taking into account the large volumes of commissioned housing, implementation of large-scale territorial development projects and industrial construction, the deputy prime minister emphasized the possibility of participation of Belarusian design organizations in joint projects with Krasnoyarsk Territory, as they have been actively and successfully working in many regions of Russia.
