MINSK, 31 August (BelTA) - The United Arab Emirates can facilitate the entry of Belarusian goods into the markets of other countries, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Arab Emirates to the Republic of Belarus Ibrahim Salim Mohamed Almusharrekh told the media after a working meeting with Minsk Oblast Governor Aleksandr Turchin, BelTA has learned.
"I have been in Belarus for three months. I have toured the key enterprises of the country, of which it is rightly proud. These are enterprises working in manufacturing industry, technology, agriculture and other sectors. We hope to develop relations in the field of education and healthcare," Ambassador Ibrahim Salim Mohamed AAlmusharrekh said.
The ambassador stressed that the UAE is the gateway to other markets, including for Belarusian meat products. He believes that high technology can also contribute to the development of relations between Belarus and the United Arab Emirates. "I visited the Hi-Tech Park and was amazed at the level it achieved. I know that there are more than a thousand companies registered there. If Belarus continues to develop in this direction, it will help other countries with the development of the technological sectors, including, as we hope, in cooperation with the UAE."
Ambassador Ibrahim Salim Mohamed Almusharrekh stressed that Belarus has extensive knowledge, technologies and infrastructure in agriculture, which provides for the continuous development of this industry. The ambassador added that education in Belarus is also at a high level.
